"What I have heard from creative people over the years is that their early urges toward unique self-expression were respected and supported by some loving adult in their young lives--someone who would even let them paint a tree blue if that''s what they felt like doing."

Welcome all Artists!
During the 2016-2017 school year, our art classes created a collaborative hanging sculpture using water bottles painted with acrylic paint. We were inspired by the work of Dale Chihuly.

Advanced Art Semester Exam: Edible Art
For the Advanced Art students (Art 2, 3, 4), the semester exam requirement involved researching a famous art period/style and writing a report on the movement, giving a presentation to the class on the art movement and an important artist of that movement, and creating an edible art project that relates to the art movement. Students have had a blast with this project, and these are some pictures of the edible art projects that students created.
